Our Community

Drawing from the South Keys and Greenboro Communities, families at Dunlop Public School represent a rich diversity of people and bring a wealth of different experiences to share and enrich our school.
Volunteers are welcomed to participate in school activities and in support of the instructional program. They form an important component of our school community. We welcome student placements from Algonquin College and from various Bachelor of Education programs. We also have many community volunteers who join with our parents during the school day to participate in a variety of activities, including: reading to kindergarten children, classroom help, organizing fundraising events, tutoring, working in the library, etc.
Our School Council is an active volunteer group of members of the school community who work tirelessly on behalf of the students. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month in the Library starting at 6:00 pm.
