Clubs

Clubs:

Clubs are run by teachers at different times throughout the year. These give students the opportunity to connect with others, try something new or simply change up recess activities. Although clubs change from year to year, we ensure that students have a robust opportunity to try new things and/or connect with others around common interests. For example, our Run Club is open to all students who are interested in learning how to run longer distances. Yearly, several Run Club members attended the Ottawa Race Weekend together in the Spring! The Dunlop Singing Club teaches students how to sing together and learn songs which may be performed during assemblies throughout the year. The Games Club is for our Primary (grade 1-3) students interested in playing cooperative card/board games with friends. Finally, our Crafting Club allows all students the opportunity to be creative together.

Clubs are primarily run by teachers, however, we are happy to welcome parents/community members who are interested in volunteering their time to run a club. If you are interested in hosting a club, please contact the office.
